RAW RECAP 18/11/19: Brawls and Build to Survivor Series – Flair/Lynch Vs IIconics, Asuka Vs Natalya

Welcome one and all to the RAW RECAP presented by THE REVELLEUTION! Survivor Series will soon be upon us, and we already know that there will be a Triple Threat Champions Match between Becky Lynch, Bayley and Shayna Baszler. However the packed Women’s Elimination Match is looking packed too. Charlotte Flair will head a team of The Kabuki Warriors, Natalya and Sarah Logan for Team Raw. Smackdown will have Sasha Banks, Carmella, Dana Brooke, Lacey Evans and Nikki Cross. Meanwhile NXT have yet to officially announce their team of five… Will we get any clues this week as to who will represent the black and gold brand? Let’s get into it, and find out…

Raw kicked off with BECKY LYNCH calling out Shayna Baszler, but THE IICONICS interrupted. This brought CHARLOTTE FLAIR out to brag about being team captain of the Raw Women’s Team.

Non-Title Tag Team Match

In a short match, Lynch and Flair easily won as Flair forced Kay to tap out to the Figure Eight while Lynch prevented Royce from breaking things up. After the match, SHAYNA BASZLER led her MMA Horsewomen MARINA SHAFIR and JESSAMYN DUKE to attack The IIconics, before using the numbers game to get the better of Lynch and Flair too before fleeing the scene.

CHARLY CARUSO handled interview duties on the show.

There was another LANA segment where she announced she’d filed for divorce from Rusev, before she stayed ringside for Bobby Lashley’s win over No Way Jose.

ZELINA VEGA was ringside for Andrade’s match against Seth Rollins, but was ejected from ringside after being caught trying to interfere.

Singles Match
Women’s Tag Team Champion ASUKA (w/h KAIRI SANE) defeated NATALYA

The action went back and forth enough in a short bout. The end came when Natalya blocked an attempt by Sane to attack, and managed to counter a follow up by Asuka. However Natalya paid for bad mouthing Sane, returning to the ring and eating a knockout kick to the head to give Asuka the win.

The rumours are that Lynch and Flair will get a Women’s Tag Title match at TLC, so it makes sense to show them getting wins. The post match attack was fine enough but the overall lack of NXT women and Smackdown women was dissapointing. With the other women’s match Natalya’s recent run of victories was cut off, and long overdue. The Kabuki Warriors getting another win to finally make them appear to be the strong champions they should be. None of that will likely matter in the expected mess of a cluster at Survivor Series with a rapid eliminations match.

That’s your lot for this week! Be sure to stop by in seven days time and we’ll have all the coverage with the next edition of the RAW RECAP! See you then!
