Raw Recap 21/10/19: No Matches, No Point. [Here’s a Pro Wrestling EVE event instead!]

Usually at this time of the week, we here at The RevELLEution would bring you the Raw Recap. Covering all the events involving women’s wrestling that happened on Monday Night Raw.

However this week there were NO women’s matches on the show, and no major segment involving women or the women’s championship. The only moments were the continuation of Lana’s ‘bad wife’ storyline with Rusev and Bobby Lashley, and Zelina Vega doing outside interference during Andrade’s match against Sin Cara.

While some of the women’s roster were overseas on the WWE’s tour of Australia, clearly the WWE has made the decision to not properly feature women due to the upcoming Crown Jewel event. Where female wrestlers will once again be banned from performing. This is a greatly saddening decision, especially as this show was supposed to have the fallout from the WWE Draft being completed. We hope to have the usual Raw Recap next week when there is some news and coverage worth talking about.

However, so that our readers are not left feeling like this article is ‘clickbait’, we’ve provided a video that British all-women’s wrestling promotion Pro Wrestling: EVE published last year. Their full WrestleQueendom event from 2018 which featured an eight-woman War Games tag team match inside of a Cage! We hope you’ll enjoy some matches with Japanese legends such as Mae Young Classic II competitor and standout Meiko Satomura, along with NXT UK stars Kay Lee Ray and Piper Niven aka Viper.
