The WWE has officially announced the signing of three indy scene standouts, including a former Impact Wrestling Knockout and a reigning Champion in SHINE Wrestling.
SCARLETT BORDEAUX, SHOTZI BLACKHEART and INDI HARTWELL were officially announced today on the WWE’s website.
Bordeaux’s signing has been far from a secret, following her requested release from Impact Wrestling after being put into comedy intergender wrestling matches. Bordeaux was one of the highest draws for ratings and views on YouTube for her ‘Smokeshow’ segment. However. claims by her real-life boyfriend Killer Kross stated that Bordeaux had to work a second job while under contract with Impact.
Blackheart had been ‘offered’ a NXT contract during a segment during an EVOLVE wrestling event last month. She is the reigning SHINE Wrestling Nova Champion, having won the title in May of this year. She is also a former hold of RISE Wrestling’s Phoenix of RISE Championship and gained attention for her performance in a No DQ Match against Brandi Lauren at EVOLVE’s 10th Anniversary event which aired on the WWE Network.
Australian ‘Impressive’ Indi Hartwell made her debut in 2016 and has competed in SHIMMER. She’s won titles across her homeland, including defeating Impact Wrestling Knockout Jordynne Grace to become WSW Women’s Champion.
