Stephanie Vaquer vacated the title on the April 1 episode of WWE NXT, forcing NXT General Manager Ava to devise a way to crown a new champion.
Ava revealed that a Ladder Match would decide the next titleholder, with Zaria and Kelani Jordan qualifying over Lash Legend and Roxanne Perez, respectively.
