WWE SummerSlam 2026 PPV Predictions

SummerSlam is here packed to the brim of the hottest superstars of WWE in not one but two nights of back to back action that promise to shake up the Women’s Division as we enter the second half of the year.

After being Crowned the 2026 Queen of the Ring, IYO SKY looks to continue the momentum as she takes her shot at Liv Morgan and the Women’s World Championship. Will Danhausen’s curse on Liv Morgan and the Judgement Day prove to be effective or will Liv Morgan yet again reign Supreme.

Elsewhere after making a shock comeback on Last Week’s SmackDown Nikki Bella and sister Brie are set to tag with Paige as they take on the Dominant Fatal Influence. Will Team Bella bounce back or will Fatal Influence prove that it really is out with the old and in with the new?

Speaking of New SmackDown looks to crown an Interim WWE Women’s Champion after it was revealed that current Champ Rhea Ripley is unable to defend and Compete. With many possible outcomes who will stand a top of the SmackDown Women’s Division as SummerSlam comes to a close.

With Championship Gold, opportunities to define a career and so much more at stake it’s time to weigh in with our SummerSlam 2026 PPV Predictions.

Elle: Can you believe this is Liv’s first title defence since winning the gold at Mania? Had this been a different female superstar I’m sure there would be far more angry voices on the internet. Regardless of not defending the gold Liv has been a prominent fixture on television since Mania and regardless of the outcome I don’t think that will change. IYO and Liv have some great chemistry and I only hope they raise the bar even more when they clash later tonight. I imagine that there will be several factors in play throughout the match including Judgement Day and Danhausen and maybe if we are lucky an appearance of Stephanie Vaquer. If I have to go with my gut I think we’ll likely see IYO leave as Champion. Prediction: IYO SKY

Adam (InsanityInc): I’ve been very vocal about how awful Morgan’s reign as Champion has been, with this being her first televised title defence since winning the gold at Mania. The two had a good match at the Queen of the Ring Finals, but the build since has been quite hit and miss. Thankfully, they’re two of the best around so I have no doubts they can deliver with a big match. As for who wins? I think that after Sky won the first match, Morgan will be victorious this time. No doubt keeping the title so the WWE can finally get the rematch between Morgan and Stephanie Vaquer that’s been part of the reason why the title scene has been so bad for so long. Prediction: Liv Morgan retains

Elle: If I had to take a guess for this match I think it likely comes down to whether or not the Bella Twins turn heel after not getting their dream Championship win at Mania with Nikki being injured. The storyline writes itself and if done correctly it shouldn’t hurt any of the women involved in the match. Sure a clean win for Fatal Influence would really help sell them as a threat to the SmackDown locker room but where would you go from there? On the other hand losing so quickly after gaining the gold could make them seem like paper champions with what could turn out to be a short title reign. If I had to call it I imagine WWE will pull the turn and who knows maybe it could even be Paige who turns on the Bellas and maybe join Fatal Influence (One could Wish) Prediction: Fatal Influence.

Adam: On the one hand, Influence could take a loss here and not be too hurt since the titles aren’t on the line. On the other, something screams about this that we might see the Bellas turn on Paige like we saw years before when they teamed with Ronda Rousey only to betray her. I wouldn’t put it past the WWE to pull the same sort of storyline trick again. I’ll lean towards a Total Divas win here to set up The Bellas getting a Tag Team Title match in the future. Prediction: The Bella Twins & Paige

Interim WWE Women’s Championship Ladder Match

Elle: I’m not going to lie i’m not a huge fan of interim Champions but hey here we are. I think if you’re going to go down the route of an interim Champion, at least throw some newer talent in the mix to help spice things up and even let them have a shock win to elevate their career. Sure we have the likes of Chelsea in here but can you imagine if the lineup was purely women who hadn’t held a main title! Talk about gamechanger. If I had to take a stab in the dark I imagine that Charlotte will walk out as Champion with several storylines already surrounding her as well as that tension with Rhea before she was injured. If Charlotte does win I just hope it doesn’t ruin her bond with the WWE Universe after being on quite the run. Prediction: Charlotte Flair.

Adam: Going the route of an ‘Interim’ title holder rather than a full Champion screams that once Rhea Ripley is healed, she’s winning no matter who leaves the match which could make the contest irrelevant. Over and above the winner not strictly being a full Champion anyway. Because of that, I’m going to lean towards Charlotte Flair winning since she’s been talking a lot in interviews about wanting to be a 15-time Champion and having a reign that’s not recognised fully as a title holder, then losing it, might be a spark that sends The Queen back into the familiar arrogant ways that led her to such success in the past. Prediction: Charlotte Flair
